whole front. I think it would look much nicer when you open up the engine bay and the whole front is covered. Sign me up for the whole front when its ready. I'll just send it out to be chromed to match the rest of my engine. : Here are some pics of the prototype done in polished aluminum: : : : : OK... now for the information... the radiator air guide is modelled on similar ones from Abflug. Of course, the ones from Abflug costs around $200 excluding shipping from Japan :) The air guide reduces the amount of air that is lost through the gaps around the latch mechanism, and guides more air through the radiator. It also replaces the piece of foam (usually rotted by now) sandwiched right in front of the radiator. With the air guide in place, I was actually able to see 2-3deg difference on my Techtom. Of course, the real purpose is it makes the car look so cool! :) : The panels will be cut by machine from a CAD/CAM drawing, so accuracy is guaranteed. In unfinished aluminum, the price will probably be around $50. I will provide polishing instructions, so its a great option for those who can do some DIY. Polishing by hand will never match mirror polished aluminum, but the results will be very nice as in the photos above. Brush finished aluminum will be $10 more. The problem is that I won't be able to get mirror polished aluminum, so if you need a very polished appearance, the other option will be stainless steel; however cost for SS will be around $80-$90 (SS sheets cost 3 times more than Aluminum). : Now, I need responses from people interested so I can set the prices, as well as get price quotes for other finishes (eg. powdercoating, etc). I am not trying to make money here, but I hope to at least recover the cost of making the prototypes and getting the CAD/CAM drawing done. Currently, I only have the design for TTs, but if there is sufficient interest from NA Zers, I can look into getting NA ones made. : OK, so if you're interested, email me at kuah2@hotmail.com, with your preference for finish (aluminum brushed or unfinished, stainless steel, powdercoat, etc) and specify NA or TT. Or post a followup message if you have any comments or questions. Thanks!
